The Fairmont St Andrews Continue Their Relationship with Carryway

Fairmont St Andrews have recently upgraded their fleet of golf buggies with official Club Car dealer Carryway. This new deal saw the delivery of 40 new Club Car Tempo’s to the Scottish resort in April this year and extends the relationship between Carryway and Fairmont St Andrews

Situated only 2 miles from the town of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland, Fairmont St Andrews was opened in June 2001. This luxury resort boasts a 5-star hotel and two 18-hole championship links golf courses, The Torrance and The Kittocks.

Since it’s opening the resort has continued to invest in the best facilities and equipment, and in 2017 saw a £17 million renovation take place to ensure the Fairmont maintains its place amongst the best golf resorts in Scotland. This huge investment saw a new restaurant and bar constructed, as well as the refurbishment of 220 guest rooms and 19 suites.

The focus of these redevelopments has been inspired by the landscape and history of St Andrews and the surrounding areas in Fife.

As well as the beautiful hotel, golf enthusiasts are guaranteed to be blown away by the two superb links courses. Playing these fabulous courses will take you through some of the most breath-taking holes in Scotland, with golfers able to take in the views of the dramatic Fife coastline whilst testing their skills as a golfer.

If you think this isn’t enough, Fairmont St Andrews have recently refreshed their golf buggy fleet with Carryway. The new 4-year lease deal renews the partnership between Carryway and Fairmont St Andrews, which began back in 2015, and sees another significant investment in the golf facilities on offer. Upgrading their previous fleet of Club Car Precedents to 40 brand new electric Club Car Tempo golf cars shows their commitment to offering only the best for their customers.

Modern and unique in style, the new electric Club Car Tempo’s are each fitted with coolers to keep your food and beverages cold, and bag covers to keep your clubs and belongings dry when the Scottish weather turns.

A significant investment has also been made behind the scenes in the Club Car fleets infrastructure. Thanks to their sophisticated underground charging/staging area the Fairmont St Andrews can ensure they have vehicles which are clean and protected from the harsh links climate, and ready to head out on the course at any time.
