Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club, Lancashire, England

The golf links at Lytham & St Annes are a class apart and one of the best in the world. With 174 pot bunkers spread across the course, this golf course has hosted 11 Open Championships. Bounded to the west by a charming railway line and Blackpool Tower in the background, this golf course is one you must at least once in your lifetime.

Little Aston Golf Club, Birmingham, England

Tucked away in the Little Aston estate, this beautiful course is steeped in tradition and boasts one of the best putting greens in the world. The golf course offers perfect conditions all around the year and features the best greens in the Midlands. The clubhouse is at its traditional best, which adds to the ‘old school’ golfing experience.

JCB Golf Course, Staffordshire, England

Located in the picturesque countryside of Staffordshire, this golf course is spread across an expansive 240 acres. It takes you through the woods and even some stunning water features that considerably add to your golfing experience. Although it’s a corporate golf club, you can get a chance to play on this course on their charity days.

Royal Dornoch Golf Club, Sutherland, Scotland

Every year, hundreds of thousands of golfing enthusiasts visit Royal Dornoch Golf Club in Scotland. Given the distance and the picturesque views that this course offers, a visit here is no less than a pilgrimage. Ranked among the best golf courses in the world, this course is also one of the most natural courses.

Royal Portrush, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland

This golf course is an outlier in that it’s the only golf course outside mainland Britain to host The Open Championship. This is a difficult track that has lots of challenges to offer to pros and amateurs alike. The two additional holes that have been added recently make this fantastic course even better.
