Rother Valley Golf Centre has just taken delivery of 10 Club Car Precedent golf buggies on hire from Carryway. The par 72 course which was designed by Mark Roe in 1997 offers golfers beautiful views across neighbouring Rother Valley Country Park, and also the surrounding countryside. The club is situated just 5 minutes from M1 junction 31 in South Yorkshire, and is very popular with both experienced Golfers and beginners.
We have worked with Rother Valley in the past offering them assistance during periods of high demand with our event hire packages, however this year they have chosen Carryway as their main provider of a golf buggies. The club has also made the change from petrol buggies, which they have traditionally run in the past, to a fleet of electric golf carts. When speaking with Richard Hanson the club manager during a recent visit he explained how he was very impressed with many of the benefits the electric cars provide, especially the reduced running costs, and low noise pollution.
Rother Valley is a club which actively promotes the use of buggies, and now finds they are becoming increasingly popular with both members and visitors alike. This year the club is also offering a free buggy trail with all memberships, which allows those how had not previously considered using a buggy the chance to give it a go.
At Carryway we have a large hire fleet of both petrol and electric golf buggies and turf utility vehicles which we offer both for seasonal/ long term hire and for a one off event days.
